Rangers third shirt from 2002-03. Bright orange body, with a mostly blue v-neck. This is replaced with the orange of the body halfway up the 'V'. Blue ellipse on either side flank the club sponsor.
The shirt was not worn often but remains a favourite among Rangers fans. This seemingly innocuous shirt was plagued by controversy, and Rangers eventually dropped the 'tangerine' shirt amid allegations of sectarianism. The 'orange' hue was seen as overly celebratory of Rangers' protestant roots and antagonistic to their catholic rivals across the city.
