Robin Friday Cardiff City 1977 iPhone & Samsung Galaxy Case
April 16th, 1977 and Cardiff City take on Luton Town. Cardiff City are struggling at the bottom of the league, and Luton are sitting in fifth place. Aleksic (the Luton keeper) and Friday had clashed repeatedly early on. In the 36th minute Robin Friday is lectured by the referee for a high challenge on the keeper. Friday extends a hand in apology. An apology the keeper did not accept. The free-kick is taken, Friday robs the Luton defender, rounds Aleksic and scores. Friday jogs back to the keeper and flicks him the fingers. An iconic moment in football history.
Cardiff City win the game 4-2, and subsequently stay up on goal difference.
